Yard Services

What a project needs around the build.

The machine on the day it is needed, an office ready for the owner's team, the spaces your people use always in service, and minutes and deadlines kept in order — in Italian and in English.

For new builds · refits · owner's teams

The role

Yard Support & Facility Coordinator.

A coordinator on your site who takes the requests, organises the work, tracks the deliveries and the deadlines, and reports back through a record you can open at any moment.

The role sits alongside your own organisation: you direct the work, we keep everything around it moving.

Yard services

Four services, one record.

Asked for through one channel, closed in a record the yard can read, and reported by project and by cost centre.

I

On the ground

What the site runs out of first

01On the ground

Core service

The right machine, at the right price, on the day it is needed.

You say what you need and by when. We search, compare and negotiate, set delivery and collection around your access, and keep the register of everything standing on site.

Includes

  • Lifting and handling — mobile cranes, forklifts, access platforms, pallet trucks
  • Site equipment — generators, compressors, welders, dehumidifiers, extractors, lighting towers
  • Modules and containers — offices, stores, changing rooms, temporary washrooms
  • At least two quotations compared on a single page, for every request
  • Delivery and collection set around the yard's hours and access
  • A photographic record at delivery and at collection, and each machine's papers before it arrives: CE conformity, periodic inspections, manual
  • The register of what stands on site: what, since when, at what cost, until when
  • Five working days' notice before every expiry, with a proposal to extend or return

You receive

A register open at any moment, and nothing left on hire by oversight.

What we commit to

Quotations comparedWithin 2 working days
Urgent request, work stoppedA solution proposed within 4 working hours
A machine breaks downTaken up within 2 working hours
Warning before a hire expires5 working days

Whatever we negotiate off the price goes to the yard. Our fee is declared, comes from you alone, and the comparison behind every choice stays on file.

02On the ground

The spaces your people work in, in order and in service.

Two services kept distinct: temporary washrooms and changing rooms on a monthly fee and a planned schedule, and the small maintenance of offices and common areas, on request and against a quotation.

Includes

  • A plan of the units — position, number and cleaning frequency — drawn up after a site visit
  • Hire, cleaning, emptying and restocking, at a frequency agreed on the headcount
  • Small maintenance — doors, locks, lighting, power points, taps, air conditioning
  • Minor building and decorating work in offices, changing rooms and mess areas
  • A weekly inspection with a checklist and photographs, shared with you
  • A monthly score from your own manager, and a report on every job

You receive

None of it on the project manager's desk.

What we commit to

A washroom module out of serviceSame working day
Urgent repair — a jammed door, a leak, no lightWithin 4 working hours
Ordinary repairWithin 3 working days

We work in the offices, the changing rooms, the washrooms and the mess areas. The production areas and the vessel stay with the yard, which keeps the safety paperwork simple and the work uninterrupted.

II

Around the project

Somewhere to work, and a record that holds

03Around the project

Core service

An office ready on the first day, and working until the last.

Inside the yard or a few minutes from it: desks, lockable storage, a dedicated connection, cleaning, and someone to call when something stops working.

Includes

  • Space inside the yard, or a furnished office nearby, chosen at a site visit
  • Desks, seating and lockable cabinets, in place before the team lands
  • A dedicated connection and a reserved network
  • Regular cleaning for the length of the project
  • First-line help on air conditioning, lighting, furnishing and small faults
  • A meeting room with a screen and a place to receive, when they are wanted
  • Dismantled and taken away when the project closes

You receive

A working office on day one, and nothing left to do at the end.

What we commit to

Proposal after the site visitWithin 3 working days
Office ready in yard spaceWithin 10 working days of the order
A fault in the officeTaken up within 4 working hours

Who pays for what is written into the proposal and signed by the yard and the owner's team before anything is built.

04Around the project

You look after the boat. We keep the record straight.

Minutes, actions, deadlines and documents, kept in order in Italian and in English, so nothing is lost between one meeting and the next.

Includes

  • We sit in the project meetings and write the minutes
  • An action register: who does what, by when, with the reminders sent
  • A project calendar of deliveries, inspections, trials and document deadlines
  • A warning before every date, rather than a note after it
  • A document archive ordered by type and version, with a record of who received what
  • A monthly summary of the hours used and the actions still open

You receive

A record that holds up, in both languages.

What we commit to

Minutes, in Italian and EnglishBy the next working day
Warning before a project deadline5 working days
A document asked for from the archiveWithin 4 working hours

The minutes record the decisions; the decisions stay with the people who take them. Every draft goes to the room before it is filed.

How a request is handled

Four steps, every time.

1

Request

Logged from the yard, the captain or the owner's team, through one channel.

2

Check

Need, timing and the authorised budget confirmed with whoever asked.

3

Organise

Options found and compared on one page, the choice agreed, the date set.

4

Close

Delivery checked with photographs, documents filed, the record closed.

Working with Meridian

Shaped around each project.

No two builds or refits are alike. Every engagement starts from the vessel, the length of the stay and the people involved, and is defined in writing before work begins.

01

On request

Single services activated when they are needed, for short stays and one-off arrivals.

02

Per project

A defined set of services for the length of a build or a refit, agreed before the first arrival.

03

Dedicated coordinator

A Meridian coordinator assigned to the project, with a monthly report and a request record you can open at any time.
